What the App Sends Automatically
Confirmations with calendar invites, waitlist promotions, reminders, receipts — so you are never surprised.
So you’re never surprised by what members receive, here’s what goes out with no action from you:
Registration and enrollment confirmations — branded emails with a calendar invite attached, for every event registration and clinic enrollment.
Welcome emails — on a new account and on a new membership.
Waitlist promotions — “You’re in” pushes, or a 30-minute hold to pay on paid events.
Booking reminders — 24 hours and 2 hours before, plus payment receipts and cancellation notices with the refund spelled out.
On event nights — a “starts soon” push about an hour before, then round-by-round pushes with each player’s court and partner, and the final results.
Personalized nudges — “a clinic at your level on Thursday”. Capped in frequency, and only sent between 9am and 9pm.
Court-extension offers — shortly before a booking starts, the app looks for dead time either side of it and offers that player the extra time at a discount.
The rule of thumb: anything transactional — confirmations, money, schedule changes — the app handles. Anything with your voice — announcements, event messages — comes from you.
Which channel each one uses
Push only — waitlist spot opens, payment failed, round started, event completed, lesson accepted and awaiting payment, court did not fill.
Push and email — event cancelled, and Message Players when you send it yourself.
Push, plus the membership pauses — a failed membership payment.
What is never sent automatically
Nothing goes out when you edit or reschedule an event. Use Message Players.
No notification when a score is submitted against a competition match — the opponent only sees it in-app.
For the messages you send yourself, see Reaching Members: The Three Layers.
