Create an Open Play Night
The workhorse of club programming — a step-by-step recipe from a blank form to a full night.

The Open Play list, with the create button on top
Open Play is the workhorse of club programming: a one-night event where the app builds fair matchups each round and keeps a live leaderboard. A good starter recipe is Americano, 2 hours, 12–16 players, a modest entry fee.
Events → Open Play → Create Open Play Event.
Event Details — name it something inviting, like “Friday Night Americano”.
Sport — only sports you have active courts for appear.
Format — Americano: a new partner every round, and each player’s own points add up. Round Robin: fixed pairs, every pair plays every other pair. Mexicano: like Americano, but each round pairs players by their current score. King of the Court: winners move up a court, losers move down.
Scoring — Time-Based is easiest for a social night; the app runs the clock.
Schedule — date, start, end. Times are in your club’s timezone.
Settings — Entry Fee, Max Courts, Min and Max Players. Where service fees are switched on, a line under the price shows what players pay and what you receive.
Optional — Add Restrictions for a gender category or rating range, and Add Prize.
Create Open Play Event — registration opens immediately and the event is live to players.
Members pricing: two toggles in Settings change who pays. Members Only means only members on the plans you pick can register, and entry is free for them — everyone else is offered the membership. Free for Members means anyone can pay the entry fee, but members on the plans you pick play free. Use one or the other, and switch on the plan’s “Members-Only Events” perk first.
Running it every week: create next week’s night the same way and keep a note of your standard settings — format, fee, courts, and player limits — so it takes two minutes.

Can’t find what you need? Ask from inside the app: Settings → Report a Problem or Ask a Question.
