Cancel, Change, or Get Rained Out
The app shows exactly what comes back before you confirm — how refunds and club credit work.
Play → Schedule → tap the booking → Cancel Booking. Before you confirm, the app shows exactly what comes back — “You’ll get $X back as club credit” — so nobody cancels blind.
More than 24 hours before your start time: the full court price comes back as club credit. Where a club charges a service fee, that fee stays as charged.
Between 12 and 24 hours before: half the court price comes back.
Less than 12 hours before: nothing comes back, because the club can no longer sell the court to anyone else.
Refunds come back as club credit, not to your card — cash refunds happen only when the club cancels on you.
About club credit: it comes off your next court booking at the same club by itself — you’ll see the credit as its own line at checkout. For an event, you use it yourself: when your balance covers the whole entry fee, the register button changes to “Register with $X Credit”. Credit is never paid out in cash, and it only works at the club that gave it to you. If your club doesn’t use club credit, the money goes back to your card instead. Paid at the front desk? The club sorts that out — just ask them.
Moving a booking instead
Tap Move on the booking. You can move it if you made the booking, it’s paid for, and it starts more than 24 hours from now. You keep the same court for the same length of time, and you can move to a slot that costs the same or less — anything you save comes back as club credit. To move to a more expensive time, cancel and book again.
Events and clinics work differently
Open play, leagues and tournaments: while sign-ups are still open your entry fee comes back as club credit, however close the event is. Once the event has started, the entry fee stays with the club.
Clinics: cancel a session more than 24 hours ahead and the price comes back as club credit. Inside 24 hours, the club keeps it.
Joined someone else’s court booking? Your share always comes back as club credit, whatever the timing.
If your court does not fill
On a split-pay booking that has not filled, we help before cancelling. About a day out the remaining shares are discounted 25%, and nobody who already paid is re-charged. Twelve hours out, if your club has one, you are offered a ball machine free of charge to keep the court anyway. If nothing works the booking is cancelled two hours before and everyone who paid gets their full share back as credit — no penalty, because you did not cancel.
Weather
If your club cancels for weather you will hear from them directly. An event refunds automatically as credit; a court booking the club cancels comes back to you in full — as club credit or to your card. If you have not heard within a day, ask them.
